Choosing the Right Gutter Protection For Your Home or Business
The REAL Reason Your Home or Business Needs Gutters Covers.
There are a number of factors to review when choosing the right gutter/leaf guards. The type of roof on your home, trees that surround your home and weather patterns will all play a role in determining which gutter guard works best for you and your home.

Once installed, we assure you that our Smart Flow/Raytec Leaf Guard will never clog or cause blockages in your gutter systems during its lifetime. Another reason to choose Smart Flow/Raytec Leaf Guard is because it is a much cheaper option than other products offered and still does a fantastic job at keeping your gutters clean and free of debris. Say goodbye to cleaning out your gutters several times a year when you invest in this excellent, top quality product! It doesn’t get much better than that!
We truly believe that Smart Flow/Raytec leaf guards are the best. Our reputation is extremely important to us and we want our customers to be happy and satisfied with the purchase they make. Over the past 10 years, we have removed old gutters with all kinds of different gutter protection but in that time frame, we have NEVER seen a gutter with an intact Smart Flow/Raytec Leaf Guard become clogged. Here’s how it works:
Without natural forces, such as wind or rain, leaves will end up collecting on top of the leaf guard. When rain or wind does eventually come, most of the leaves will simply blow off but whatever does not blow off can be easily swept off if need be. No matter what you refer to it as, whether it is leaf screen, gutter protection, leaf guard, or even “that leaf stuff”, we will know what you are talking about and we will give you the best product.
OUR MOST POPULAR TYPES OF LEAF PROTECTION
We Offer A Wide Selection Of Leaf Protection To Protect Your Rain Gutters From Becoming Clogged.
Listed below are some of the most common types of Leaf Protection. You can learn more about all of our gutter protection products by contacting us for a simple, free estimate.

PERFORATED GUTTER GUARDS
A number of factors, including roof pitch and tree coverage, can contribute to determining which gutter guard works best for your home.
Low Maintenance Protection
The best product on the market is, by far, this type of leaf guard. We have found this type of leaf guard to never fail us personally or our customers whom we have installed it for. Perforated Gutter Guards are made of aluminum for consistency with strength and endurance and pest resistance. The small hole design and placement on the face of the guard assists with keeping leaves, small debris and pine needles out, allowing rain water to freely flow through your gutter system. Ridges on the Smart Flow/Raytec and the Eave N Flow guards encourage air flow which blows dry leaves and debris off with a slight breeze and keeps the smaller pieces of debris from creating a paper-like barrier. These guards are each available for 5”, 6” & 7” K-style gutters.
ALUMINUM EXPANDED WIRE GUTTER GUARDS
Protect Your Gutters
Long Lasting
This type of gutter guard is made of mill finish aluminum with standard hole size and reinforced edge which provide basic gutter protection. These screens allow water to flow through your gutters while keeping leaves and larger debris out. The two types of this particular guard are known as Drop-In and Fast Screen. Both are available for 5” and 6” K-style gutters.
Drop-In Gutter Guard
Designed to slide under the first row of shingles, then screws are inserted into the front lip for a secure install.
Fast Screen Gutter Guard
Screws are not needed when installing this type of guard, therefore the shingles of your house remain undisturbed. To install, the screen is compressed between the top of the hangers and the front lip of the gutter to lock it into place.

POWDER COATED EXPANDED WIRE GUTTER GUARDS
Galvanized Steel Strength
These gutter guards are made up of galvanized steel, are powder coated with black paint to eliminate sunlight reflection and are designed with small perforated holes. The powder coat is corrosion resistant. There are specific gaps at the end of every 4-foot section that allows for easy overlapping and provides support when there is no internal gutter hanger existing.
While we will install these products if our customers request them specifically, we do advise against them because we have found them to be ineffective at keeping gutters clear and free of leaves and debris.

“Helpful Tips”
A number of factors should be considered when choosing the right gutter guards. So, how do you choose the right one for your home?
Look At Your Roof
Composition shingles are the most common type of roofing material. How your gutter guards perform will depend on your roofing material as well as the design and pitch of your roof.
Take Careful Notice Of The Trees Around Your Home
What kind of debris are you trying to keep out of your gutter systems? There are over a thousand varieties of trees that are native in North America. Trees differentiate with size and leaf type and these factors will impact the type of gutter guards you install on your home. However, we can confidently say that we have found Smart Flow/Raytec to be most effective on ALL types of debris.
Know The Weather Patterns In Your Area/Region
Especially down here in the South Texas region, the intensity and frequency of storms and rain should be considered when choosing the right gutter guards for your home.
NOT ALL GUTTER GUARDS ARE MADE THE SAME
Our manufacturer only has modern, effective, state-of-the-art equipment. Their constant attention to quality control ensures that we always get exceptional shape and exact style to fit your new or existing gutters.
