What the customer needed
Two roof valleys were concentrating runoff at the front porch and near the front door. The homeowner also wanted water directed away from garden beds and a long-term gutter solution for the foundation.
What shaped the plan
The single-story brick home has a 6:12 roof pitch, two valleys aimed toward the front-entry area, and trees around the roofline. Mac also identified heavy Montgomery rain as an important condition for the water-management plan.
The system and the reasoning
Mac recommended black 6-inch seamless aluminum gutters around the home, paired with black 3-by-4 downspouts and Smart Flow guards. The layout was intended to collect the concentrated valley runoff, route it away from the porch and garden beds, and limit debris entering the gutters.
What dcGutterPRO completed
dcGutterPRO installed black 6-inch seamless aluminum gutters around the home, black 3-by-4 downspouts, and Smart Flow gutter guards.
How the finished system came together
The finished system provides continuous black gutter runs around the roofline, with downspouts serving the home and Smart Flow guards covering the gutters. The layout gives the two front-entry valleys a managed path into the new system.
