What the customer needed
The homeowner wanted to protect the foundation and keep concentrated roof runoff from flooding the front and back porches or washing through the garden beds.
What shaped the plan
The single-story home has a shingle roof with an approximately 4-on-12 pitch, black soffit and fascia, a white stone front section, white-painted brick, and mature trees near the property.
The system and the reasoning
Mac recommended larger gutters for the local rainfall, 3-by-4 downspouts placed at intervals of about 30 feet, and Smart Flow guards because of the nearby trees. The completed installation uses the homeowner's selected 5-inch gutter size.
What dcGutterPRO completed
dcGutterPRO installed black 5-inch seamless aluminum gutters around the home, added matching 3-by-4 downspouts at the garage, side walls, and covered patio, and fitted the gutters with perforated Smart Flow guards.
How the finished system came together
The finished black system blends with the existing soffit, fascia, and window trim while standing out cleanly against the white masonry. Matching downspouts provide defined discharge routes around the foundation, and the Smart Flow guards cover the gutters beneath the nearby trees.
