What the customer needed
The homeowner was having trouble with the existing 5-inch gutters keeping up with torrential rain.
What shaped the plan
The two-story home has a stone-faced front bay window, cream lap siding, a covered front porch, and a front-facing garage, with mature trees close to the roofline at the front and side.
The system and the reasoning
Mac replaced the 5-inch gutters with 6-inch gutters for more capacity, paired with 3-by-4 downspouts and 6-inch Smart Flow guards.
What dcGutterPRO completed
dcGutterPRO removed the existing 5-inch gutters and installed white 6-inch gutters, white 3-by-4 downspouts, and 6-inch Smart Flow leaf guards on the Sterling Ridge home.
How the finished system came together
White 6-inch gutters now follow the stone bay, porch, and garage rooflines, with white downspouts carrying water to ground level at the bay window corner and along the side wall. The larger gutter gives the roof more capacity in heavy rain than the 5-inch system it replaced.
