What the customer needed
The homeowner wanted roof runoff moved away from the foundation and beyond the garden beds at the front and rear of the home, where heavy rain sent a large amount of water toward the landscaped areas.
What shaped the plan
The single-story brick-and-siding home has a shingle roof, mature tree cover, garden beds along the front and rear, and ground that slopes from a higher front yard toward the back of the property. Mac considered that grade while planning the gutter and downspout routes.
The system and the reasoning
Mac recommended white 6-inch seamless aluminum gutters with matching 3-by-4 downspouts, Smart Flow aluminum leaf guards, and extensions at the bottom of the downspouts to carry discharge beyond the garden beds.
What dcGutterPRO completed
dcGutterPRO installed white 6-inch seamless aluminum gutters around the home, added matching white 3-by-4 downspouts and ground-level extensions, and fitted Smart Flow aluminum gutter guards along the new gutter runs.
How the finished system came together
The white gutters follow the porch, garage, side, and rear rooflines while blending with the home's fascia and trim. Matching downspouts now connect those runs to extensions positioned beyond the garden beds, giving collected roof water a planned route away from the foundation and landscaping.
