Last updated August 20, 2026. This policy explains how dcGutterPRO handles information you submit through the website and limited technical and measurement data generated when you use it.

Information the estimate form collects

When you request an estimate through this website, dcGutterPRO collects the information you choose to provide: your first and last name, email address, phone number, street address when provided, city, state, ZIP code, selected service, project details, and whether you checked the optional box allowing text messages about that estimate. The website may also process limited technical request information for security and abuse prevention.

Website analytics, advertising measurement, and cookies

The website uses Google Tag Manager to load Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads measurement services. Those services may process the page URL and referring page, IP address and approximate location, browser, device and operating-system information, timestamps, page views and interactions, advertising or campaign information, and cookie-based or other pseudonymous identifiers. Google Analytics normally uses first-party cookies such as _ga to distinguish users and sessions; Google advertising measurement may use additional cookies or identifiers. dcGutterPRO uses this information to understand website use, troubleshoot performance, protect against fraud or abuse, and measure whether website visits or advertising lead to estimate requests or calls. Google Tag Manager is the delivery system for the connected Google services, and Google processes related data under its own terms and privacy practices.

What the estimate conversion event includes

After the estimate server confirms that a request was accepted, the website may send a non-identifying generate_lead event for conversion measurement. That event uses a fixed form name and may include the selected service only after it is reduced to a predefined service category. dcGutterPRO does not intentionally send your name, email address, phone number, street address, city, ZIP code, project details, text-message choice, or other free-form estimate contents to Google Analytics or Google Ads. The event identifies the website form and general lead category, not the person or property.

How submitted information is used

dcGutterPRO uses information submitted through the estimate form to review and respond to your request, discuss the property and project, arrange or provide an estimate, maintain reasonable business records, troubleshoot delivery issues, and protect the form from abuse. Checking the optional text box allows text follow-up about that estimate request; leaving it unchecked means the form does not provide permission to text you.

Limited sharing and no sale

Information may be shared as reasonably necessary with service providers that host or secure the website, provide Google analytics or advertising measurement, transmit form email, or support website operations, and with authorized recipients who handle estimate requests for dcGutterPRO. These providers include Vercel, Google, and the applicable email and hosting providers. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, or address misuse of the service. dcGutterPRO does not sell personal information.

Your measurement and contact choices

The website's optional measurement prompt lets you allow or decline Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement before those services load. You can review or change that choice later through Privacy choices in the footer. You can also use your browser settings to block or delete cookies, adjust advertising choices through Google Ads Settings, or use Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on. These controls may not prevent every form of technical processing, such as security logs needed to operate and protect the website. Text permission is optional; you may tell dcGutterPRO that you no longer want estimate-related texts. You may still request an estimate by phone if you prefer not to use the website form.

How long information is kept

There is no single fixed retention period for every record or system. Estimate information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the request, manage the customer or project relationship and ordinary business records, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and protect the service. Analytics, advertising, hosting, security, and email providers may retain related information for different periods under their account settings and operational practices.

Security

dcGutterPRO takes reasonable steps intended to protect information submitted through the website. However, no website, internet transmission, email service, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Questions, corrections, and removal requests

You may contact dcGutterPRO to ask a privacy question or request access to, correction of, or removal of personal information connected with your estimate request. Enough information may be needed to confirm the request and locate the relevant record. Some information may need to be retained when reasonably required for legal, security, dispute-resolution, or recordkeeping purposes. Requests concerning information controlled by Google or another provider may also need to be directed to that provider.
