What the customer needed
The homeowner wanted to protect the foundation and garden beds while keeping roof runoff from reaching the front porch and the wood around the covered backyard patio.
What shaped the plan
The two-story home combines brick and siding beneath a shingle roof with an approximately 6-on-12 pitch. Mature trees surround the property, and the upper and lower roof sections create several collection points around the entry, garage, and patio.
The system and the reasoning
Mac recommended a full wrap of dark bronze 6-inch seamless gutters with matching 3-by-4 downspouts placed to carry water away from the foundation and problem areas. Smart Flow guards were included because of the surrounding trees.
What dcGutterPRO completed
dcGutterPRO installed dark bronze 6-inch seamless aluminum gutters around the two-story rooflines, added matching 3-by-4 downspouts at the front, garage, sides, and patio, and fitted the gutters with perforated Smart Flow guards.
How the finished system came together
The completed dark bronze system creates a strong, coordinated outline against the brick and light trim. Downspouts now provide defined discharge routes around the foundation, while the installed Smart Flow guards cover the open gutters beneath the home's mature trees.
