Black seamless gutters and downspouts outlining a white farmhouse with covered porches in North Zulch
The goal

What the customer needed

The homeowner wanted to protect the foundation, move roof water away from the front and back porches, and keep future garden areas from receiving concentrated runoff.

At the property

What shaped the plan

The farmhouse pairs white board-and-batten siding with black trim, a shingle roof, a standing-seam metal accent above the front porch, and light stone skirting. The photographs show the home during the final stages of exterior construction.

Mac's recommendation

The system and the reasoning

Mac recommended black 6-inch seamless gutters with matching 3-by-4 downspouts positioned at the home's corners. Gutter guards were not recommended because the house was not surrounded by trees.

The work

What dcGutterPRO completed

dcGutterPRO installed black 6-inch seamless aluminum gutters across the farmhouse roof edges and added matching 3-by-4 downspouts at the front porch, side sections, and covered outdoor area.

The result

How the finished system came together

The black system creates a clean outline against the white siding and ties in with the dark roof, window trim, and porch accents. The matching downspouts give collected roof water defined routes to ground level around the home's porch and foundation edges.
