What the customer needed
The customer wanted to protect the foundation and keep roof water away from the garden, front porch, and backyard patio areas.
What shaped the plan
The two-story home combines light brick with pale stone accents and has a shingle roof with an approximately 3-on-12 pitch. Multiple upper and lower roof edges needed coordinated collection and downspout placement.
The system and the reasoning
Mac recommended black 6-inch seamless gutters for the full roofline wrap with 3-by-4 downspouts placed at intervals of about 30 feet to handle runoff across the two-story layout.
What dcGutterPRO completed
dcGutterPRO installed black 6-inch seamless aluminum gutters around the upper and lower roof edges, then added matching black 3-by-4 downspouts at the front corners, garage, side elevations, and covered patio.
How the finished system came together
The finished black system creates a crisp outline against the home's light masonry and ties the two-story rooflines together visually. Matching downspouts now provide defined discharge routes at the foundation, landscaped front, garage, and backyard patio corners.
