Beige 6-Inch Gutters for a Covered Patio in Montgomery

Beige 6-inch seamless aluminum gutters and matching 3-by-4 downspouts were installed on a newly built covered patio in Montgomery to collect roof runoff before it reached the patio floor and foundation.

The goal

What the customer needed

The patio contractor wanted to finish the new addition with a drainage system that would keep roof water from flooding the covered outdoor space and washing across its newly poured foundation.

At the property

What shaped the plan

The work area was an attached covered-patio addition at the back of the home. Without gutters on the new roof edges, rainfall could fall directly onto the patio and gather along the slab.

Mac's recommendation

The system and the reasoning

Mac recommended 6-inch seamless gutters with 3-by-4 downspouts to collect runoff across the added patio roof and carry it to ground level at the outer corners.

The work

What dcGutterPRO completed

dcGutterPRO formed and installed beige 6-inch seamless aluminum gutters along the covered-patio roof edges, then added matching beige 3-by-4 downspouts to complete the new drainage system.

The result

How the finished system came together

The finished beige gutters follow the patio's stone-and-stucco roofline and coordinate with the home's light exterior trim. Matching downspouts at the outside corners give water from the new roof a defined route to the yard instead of across the covered living area.
