What the customer needed
The property owner needed a larger replacement downspout after the previous one rusted out and fell from the building. Without that route, heavy runoff from the existing commercial gutter was striking the brick and seeping through the wall into the building.
What shaped the plan
The building has a tall painted-brick wall and a large existing commercial gutter. The full-length downspout route needed secure wall support, and Mac described heavy water volume during Conroe's torrential rains.
The system and the reasoning
Mac recommended a custom 6-by-12 steel downspout for the full-length run from the existing large commercial gutter. The installation also called for custom heavy-duty steel brackets to secure the downspout to the painted-brick wall.

dcGutterPRO installed a custom-made, light cream 6-by-12 steel downspout along the building's painted-brick wall. Mac fabricated heavy-duty steel brackets to secure the full-length run from the existing commercial gutter to the lower wall.
How the finished system came together
The completed installation replaces the downspout that had rusted out and fallen from the building. The existing commercial gutter now has a full-length 6-by-12 steel downspout secured with custom brackets, restoring a dedicated route for the heavy roof runoff that had been striking the brick and seeping through the wall.
