What the customer needed
A front corridor was collecting water, and the homeowner wanted roof runoff moved away from the foundation and landscaped beds. The new drainage also needed to respect the home's prominent arches and round columns.
What shaped the plan
The part two-story stucco home has a terracotta tile roof with an approximately 4-on-12 pitch, several intersecting roof sections, covered patios, a front courtyard, and tall round columns at the main entrance.
The system and the reasoning
Mac recommended a full wrap of light cream 6-inch seamless aluminum gutters with matching 3-by-4 downspouts. At the front columns, round 4-inch downspouts were selected to follow the architecture more naturally.
